Paul Wayne Arthur

Services for Mr. Paul Wayne Arthur, 74, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gilmer with Brian Fenwick officiating. Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Little Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. Mr. Arthur passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Gilmer. He was born on March 9, 1936, in Seminole, Oklahoma to Orby Arthur and Pauline Burns Arthur. Mr. Arthur served in the U. S. Army National Guard and was a member of the 1st Christian Church of Gladewater. He worked 35 years at Oxy Petroleum and was the chief operator at the time of his retirement. Mr. Arthur is survived by his children; son, Dale Arthur of Gilmer, daughter, Beth Haselhorst of Hays, Kansas and Beth"s children, Sterling and Cody, of Walsh, Colorado, and Aspen of Hays, Kansas; brother, David Arthur of Borger, Texas; and sisters, Doris Anderson of Seattle Washington, Denise Arthur of Borger, Texas.. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years, Jo Ann Arthur on April 26, 2011; son-in-law Daryl Haselhorst; 1 brother and 1 sister.
