Philip Laird Stice, 79, of Emory, Texas, passed away on April 6, 2026. Born on December 31, 1946, in Pueblo, Colorado.

Philip graduated from Pueblo County High School and went on to complete two years of college. He served four years in the USAF. After the USAF he worked at Alfa Beta Meat Packing Plant then began a career at the Colorado Dept of Corrections in June 1984. He retired January 1, 2007.

Gifted in building and remodeling homes, as well as cement work. His love of the Colorado mountains ran deep, and he cherished the many camping trips he shared with his family. He also competed in team roping events where he earned numerous trophies and belt buckles. Philip's faith was the cornerstone of his life. Philip gave of himself with a willing heart. His life bore witness to the love of Christ, and he now rests in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Philip is survived by his loving family. Wife, Patricia Stice, children Rich (Erin) Stice, Charlie (Travis) Allee, step children Denese (Russ) Miller, Louis DeGrado, Mike (Shannon ) DeGrado and 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren .Siblings Norman Stice (deceased), Jerry Stice (deceased), Jean Hadduk (deceased), Norma Wright, Barbara Stolz (deceased), Carol Hughes (deceased), Sharol Roush (deceased), Linda Mead (deceased), Billy Stice (deceased), Gail Carpenter, Kenny Stice, numerous nieces and nephews.

 A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 1:00 p.m. at River of Grace Church, 84 E. Masters Drive, Pueblo West, Colorado, followed by a short reception. "Home at last, waiting for my honey!!!"
