Ray Leon Hicks

Ray Leon Hicks, 73, of Hawkins visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the funeral home prior to the interment. Interment will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Hawkins cemetery in Hawkins. Arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mr. Hicks passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in a Tyler hospital.

Mr. Hicks was born September 4, 1939, in Gladewater to Silas and Mary Bell Eitson Hicks. He was retired from Mason Tyler Mfg. and was a member of the Pentecostal faith.

Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Brenda Hicks of Hawkins; sons, Richard Hicks of Hallsville and Andy Hicks of Lindale; daughter, Carol Green of Hawkins; sister, Lois Slayton of Mineola; three grandchildren, Brandon Green, Josh Green and Riley Hicks.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
