Robert Gene "Pat" Patterson

Graveside services for Robert Gene (Pat) Patterson, 85, of Gilmer will be held 11:00 A.M, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, Texas under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Robert Gene (Pat) Patterson was born April 28, 1927, in Oklahoma to Ira and Ruby Patterson and died April 27, 2013. He served in the Navy in WWII and retired from Exxon in 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother I. J. Patterson and sister, Sandra Canfield. Mr. Patterson is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lauris Patterson of Gilmer, Texas, daughter, Diane Hill and husband, Tom of Port Aransas, Texas; grandsons, Scott Hill of Austin, Texas; Brent Hill and wife, Lesley of Carrollton, Texas; sister-in-law, Dolly Patterson of Tennessee; nephew, Keith Patterson and family also of Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
