Robert "Bob" Haley

Robert "Bob" Haley, passed away on February 5, 2024, in Gilmer, Texas. He was born in Manchester, New Hampshire on February 4, 1960, to Thomas and Marianne (Ansaldo) Haley.

Bob enlisted in the Airforce before starting his career at a young age, where he proudly served his country. Bob led a fulfilling life as a carpenter and volunteer firefighter at a local fire department to help his community. Bob helped many friends and family build their houses and he he was an advocate for the homeless.


In his free time, Bob had various hobbies and interests, he had an exceptional ability to turn pieces of wood into works of art that will be treasured by loved ones for generations to come. Bob loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time kayaking, canoeing, and gardening. These passions reflected his appreciation for the simple joys in life and his connection with the world around him.

 

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Beth; son, Jacob Haley; daughter, Jackie Haley Park (Thomas); brother, Tom Haley; sister, Susan Reiling; and 2 grandchildren, Zoe Haley, and Mackenzie Smith (Chase).


Bob was preceded in death by his parents and son, John Haley.


A Memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Croley Funeral Home.
