Gilmer -- Memorial services for Rodney Dean Wilson, 53, of Gilmer, will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at 11 A.M. at Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Lee Wilson officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home in Gilmer. Born on January 27, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, he died on Sunday, August 9, 2015. He is survived by his mother, Mary Scott of Gilmer; two daughters, Tressa Wilson of Louisiana and Bobbi Wilson of Arlington; four grandchildren, Emily Michelle Schultz, Dallas Rodriguez, Kevin Schultz, and Tyler Wilson; one brother, Robert Lee Wilson of San Antonio; and one sister, Penni Wright of Gilmer. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Wilson. No visitation is scheduled.
