Rodrick Preston Herring

Graveside services for Rodrick Preston Herring, 72, of Gladewater will be held at 3pm on Monday, March 27, 2023 at Gladewater Memorial Park. Mr. Herring passed away on March 13, 2023, at his residence.

Rodrick was born on February 12, 1951 in Overton, Texas to Doyle Rodrick Herring and Mary Ett Florence. He was a proud US Army veteran having served in the 82^nd Airborne. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Travis Herring.

Rodrick is survived by a brother, Wallace Herring and wife Lisa of Winnsboro, sister, Charlotte Pechiney of Gladewater, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Rodrick’s name.
