Ronnie Jake Knight

Services for Ronnie Jake Knight, 68, of Gilmer, will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at Concord Cemetery with Reverend Madison Caffey officiating. Mr. Knight went home to his Lord Friday, July 21, 2023, in Gilmer, surrounded by his family.

Ronnie was born June 10, 1955, in Gilmer, Texas, to Jake and Wanda Estelle Posey Knight. He worked many years driving a truck before retirement. he enjoyed cars, car shows, motorcycles and spending time with his family and grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, David Neal Knight, Tommy Ray Knight and Danny Joe Knight.

Ronnie was a loving dad to his children; Jacob Knight and wife, Lacy, Jason Knight and wife, Monica, Celina Knight, Austen Finney and wife, Tammy, Brian Finney and wife, Amy. He was a loving Pa Pa to his grandchildren, Jasmine, Dailon, Jacob, Jaydan, Jax, Caleb, Shalee, Kenzie, Shiela, Justin, Brayden, Omari, Kinley, Beckham, Briggin, Behr, Bowen and ten great grandchildren. Ronnie is also survived by a brother, Kenny Knight; sisters, Billie Gilmore and husband, Frank, Sylvia Barnhart and husband, James and numerous nieces and nephews; as well as special friend Rhonda Finney.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 24, 2023, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
