Ronnie Lamar Mason was born on January 25, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas and passed away on April 21, 2026, in Tyler, Texas.

Ronnie married Linda Walker on October 15, 1972. Together, they shared many years and memories.

As the representative of Derksen Portable Buildings, Ronnie demonstrated a remarkable commitment to his craft and his customers, building a legacy of quality and service that stood as a testament to his work ethic and integrity.

He enjoyed his retirement by spending time working in the yard and reading books. These simple pleasures brought him joy and relaxation in his later years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Mason of Gilmer; son, Ryan Mason and wife Kilie of Midlothian; sister, Connie Martin and husband Larry of Longview; sister-in-law, Lynne Hall and husband Chris of Longview; along with two grandchildren, Caleb Mason and Danielle Mason.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, James Lamar Mason and Eva Dee Bell Mason.

Pallbearers will be Gregg Koehn, Hershel Stroman, Chris Hall, Steven Haney, Stan Baker, J.D. Schuler and Lawson Koehn.

Ronnie’s life will be honored with a visitation held on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place the same day at Sunset Memorial Park at 11:30 AM.
