Ruby Loyce Hoffpauir

Graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Hoffpauir, 83 of Gilmer will be held 2:00 P.M, Monday, February 13, 2012, at Enon Cemetery with Bro. Ray Thompson officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Born on October 7, 1928, to Odis C. and Thelma Metcalf Moore, she died on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, in Longview, Texas. On November 10, 1945 she married Dorsey Samuel Hoffpauir in Orange, Texas and he preceded her in death in 1996. Mrs. Hoffpauir was a lifetime resident of Upshur County, a member of Enon Baptist Church and a member of Women"s Missionary Auxillary in Liberty District and Texas. She is survived by sons, Jack Wayne Hoffpauir, Gordon Drew Hoffpauir; daughter, Patricia Lynn Powell; sister, Mary Evelyn Hamberlin; 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren. Mrs. Hoffpauir was also preceded in death by her brother, Olan Moore. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February, 12, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
