Ruth Ann Green

Private memorial services will be held at a later date for Ruth Ann Green, 72, of Hawkins. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Mrs. Green passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 in a Tyler hospital. Mrs. Green was born October 1, 1940 in Upshur County, TX, to Thomas Jefferson and Annie Mare Welch Haire. She was a housewife and a member of the Assembly of God faith. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Green of Hawkins; brothers, Ronnie Haire, Edward Haire and Edwin Haire; sisters, Linda Campbell, Jeaniece Eitson and Jeanette Osbourn. Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Green; and son, David Green. Family request memorials be made to the Kidney Foundation. No formal visitation is scheduled.
