Ruth Elayne Gamble

Ruth Elayne Gamble, 89, of Gladewater, passed away Saturday, August 14, 20021. She was born March 18, 1932 to the late Frank Floyd Gamble and Loretta Johnson Gamble.

Ruth was a seamstress for many years and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed her time with family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Ray Haskell, and Steve Stidham; brothers Dan Gamble and Stanley Gamble; sisters, Norma Sue McDowell, and Shirley Aldridge; and
numerous grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sons, Frank Lee Stidham, Benny Floyd Stidham, and Lance Stidham; daughter, Margaret Allen; and a number of brothers and sisters.

Private graveside arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. A public memorial service will be held at a later date due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
