Sarah Lea Collins

Sarah Lea Collins passed away on June 4, 2025, in Dallas, Texas at the age of 56. She was born on July 3, 1968, in Pittsburg, Texas to Freddie Warnell and Wanda Bunt Warnell.

Throughout her life, Sarah enjoyed many hobbies and interests. She found joy in gardening, loved spending time on the beach, where the sound of waves brought her peace and happiness. Above all, Sarah cherished moments spent with her family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

Sarah had a remarkable ability to make those around her feel cherished and valued, she embodied warmth, always greeting loved ones with a kind word. She was known for her strong spirit, kindness, and deep love for those around her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Janet Joiner, Virginia Nall and Betty Holcomb; brothers, Jessie Evans and Gary Holcomb; nieces and nephews, Sarah Dunahoe, Seirra Lowrance, Dalton Dacus, Hannah Holcomb, Corbin Holcomb, Daizee Holcomb, Cody Pritchett and Rebecca Pritchett.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Sarah Bunt and husband, Russel Collins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas, where friends and family are invited to share their cherished memories of Sarah. The service will begin at 2:00 PM.
