Sharon Maxine Shields Garrison was born in Lufkin, Texas on November 27, 1969, to Wallace and Juanita Evens Shields.  She passed away on August 24, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Sharon was the youngest of 18 children. She had several nieces, nephews and cousins who felt like she was a mother to them. She never met a stranger, loved everyone and she was loved by all.

She is survived by her husband Paul Garrison; children, Robyn Wilson and husband Jonathan, Holli Stanley and husband Mark, Gabriel Garrison and wife Misty, Justin Garrison and wife Brittany, Nathan Garrison and wife Chelsey; grandchildren, Rylee, Audri, Bradley, Emma, Saegar, Benjamin, Scottie and Jade.

Sharon was preceded by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 11 am at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with a visitation one hour prior to service.
