Stanley Joe Hagan, a devoted father, veteran, and beloved family member, passed away on March 22, 2026, in Longview, Texas. Born on June 9, 1977, in Longview, Stanley lived a life marked by deep selflessness and a profound gratitude for all he had.
His journey was not without its trials, yet Stanley’s spirit remained unyielding. Despite facing significant health challenges, he never allowed these obstacles to hinder his commitment to his children. His love knew no bounds; undeterred by distance or hardship, he would do whatever it took just to spend precious hours with them. This unwavering dedication exemplified the depth of his devotion, going endlessly above and beyond to be present in their lives. Beyond his children his 3 loves were playing golf, pizza, and coffee, in that order! Of course, it was also well-known Stanley continued the family tradition his grandmother started: having silver dollar pancakes on Sunday Mornings without fail.
Stanley served his country honorably in the United States Air Force, a chapter of his life that speaks to his sense of duty and courage. His military service was a testament to his character—one rooted in sacrifice and determination.
Stanley survived by his daughter, Lynli Lowry; his son, Maxwell Hagan; aunts, LaWanda Luna and husband Javier, Kathy Hagan, and Katinka Aldridge; his uncle, Jack Hagan; cousins, Louis Odle and wife Mindy, Charlie Odle and wife Anine; Sabrina Tincher and husband Steven, and Tabitha Bodine and husband Chris; and Samuel Lain; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
Stanley is preceded in death by his mother Judy Henderson; grandparents, Charles and Leoma Hagan; and uncle, Bill Aldridge.
The impact Stanley had as a father, a family man, and a friend cannot be overstated. He will be remembered not only for the love he lavished on those closest to him but also for the strength he exhibited amid life’s challenges. His legacy is one of love, sacrifice, and a powerful devotion that touched everyone whose lives he entered.
A memorial service to honor Stanley's life will be held on March 27, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Christian Fellowship, located at 1407 N White Oak Rd, White Oak, Texas. Friends and family are invited to gather, celebrate, and reflect on the remarkable life of a truly extraordinary man.
Though he has departed this world, Stanley Joe Hagan’s spirit and the memory of his boundless love will remain forever etched in the hearts of all who loved him.
