Sue Layton, 69, of Lone Star, Texas, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2022. A graveside will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Tyler, Texas, with Brother Steve Layton officiating.
Sue was born August 10, 1953 in Tyler, Texas. She worked for many years managing retail and food service stores. She was married for forty-seven years to the love of her life, Tom Layton. Sue enjoyed life and her family.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Layton; a son, David Layton; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Layton and Jordan Sofia Layton and a sister, Sandy Aucoin.
