Thomas Matthew Lee Allen

Thomas Matthew Lee Allen, born on October 17, 2003, in Lakeland, Florida, left this world far too soon on January 10, 2026. He was a bright light in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his spirit will be cherished by many.

Matt was the beloved son of Shanda King and Thomas Allen. He shared a close bond with his siblings: Brinley Allen, Logan King, Ayden Walters, and Zane Wicker, each of whom will remember him for his vibrant personality and kind heart. His family also included loving grandparents, Ed and Gail King and Harold and Teresa Giddens, alongside his grandfather Jerry King Sr., who all played an important role in his life.

Matt was surrounded by extended family that loved him dearly, including uncles and aunts, Tim Lewis and Michelle King, Robbie and Hope Leaver, Terence and Heather Chaney, and Jerry King Jr. He was also blessed with twelve first cousins, who will hold onto the memories of their time together and the joy he brought into their lives.
