Thomas Curtis Chandler

Thomas Curtis Chandler, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 87 in Gladewater, Texas. Born on September 21, 1937, in Gilmer, Texas to John Curtis Chandler and Thelma Margaretta Davis Chandler.

Thomas dedicated much of his life to his career as a butcher for Campbell Soup Company. His work was important to him, and he took pride in providing quality service.

He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He cherished each moment and created countless memories with them. His love for his family was evident to all who knew him.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Wilma Chandler of Gladewater; son, David Chandler and wife Terry of East Mountain; 3 grandchildren, Angellia Points and husband Alex, Emily Harper and husband Micah, Matthew Chandler and wife Ariel; 3 great grandchildren and 13 step grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Thomas will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Mattox Cemetery in Diana, Texas. A graveside service will follow the visitation, starting at 11:00 AM at the same location.
