A devoted father, grandfather. and great-grandfather, Tom is survived by his wife Cathy, end children Velma Parker, Thomas Dean "Deano" Parker, Michael Langford, and Brad Langford, as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy, and his legacy of love and strength will live on through them.

Tom had a rich and diverse life, marked by his unwavering commitment to his country, his community, and his faith. He served in the United States Army, embodying the values of honor and duty that he carried with him throughout his life. After his service. Tom began a long and successful career with Exxon Mobil, where he worked for many years before retiring.

A fixture of the Hawkins community, Tom dedicated countless hours to serving others He was a proud member of the Hawkins Masonic Lodge 1293 since 1971, demonstrating his commitment to brotherhood and service. He also served on the Hawkins School Board, where his voice was often heard advocating for the betterment of local education. Known as the "Voice of the Hawks", Tom's deep passion for his community and Its future led him to become the Mayor of Hawkins, a role in which he worked tirelessly to improve the town. he loved.

Tom's faith was a cornerstone of his life. He was an active and dedicated member of Hawkins First United Methodist Church, where he served on numerous boards and was involved in various church ministries. His faith guided him in all his endeavors, and he found joy in helping others, both in his church and throughout the Hawkins community.

Tom married the love of his life, Cathy Parker, on November 4, 1978. Together, they shared a beautiful life full of love, adventures, and cherished memories. Cathy was his constant companion and support, and their bond was unshakable.

Whether as a father, grandfather, friend, or community leader, Tom Parker was known for his kind heart and his deep devotion to those around him. He was very dedicated to caring for his community and family.
