Tommy Ray Ellis Gladewater " Services for Tommy Ray Ellis, 57, of Gladewater, will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011, at 2 P.M. at the Winona First Baptist Church. A private burial will be held at Ragsdale-Moss Cemetery in Rockdale. Born on May 15, 1954, in Thibodaux, Louisiana, he died on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in his home with his wife. He was a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad and owner of Tommy Ellis Trucking in Gladewater. He is survived by his wife, Paula Alexander Ellis of Gladewater; son and daughter-in-law, Corey Michael and Katie Ellis of Gladewater; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Tiffany and Mike Lewis of Flint and Amber and Tanner Blount of Plains; 4 grandchildren, Michael Lewis, Katelynn Lewis, Helee Blount, and Cross Blount; 2 brothers, Jack Ellis of Henrietta and David Ellis of Texas; and 1 sister, Brenda Shepherd of Argyle. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Winona First Baptist Church.
