Travis "Mike" Michael Owens

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Travis Michael Owens, better known as Mike, who left us on June 20, 2025, at the age of 77. Mike, a resident of Gladewater, Texas, was born on April 8, 1948. He was a beloved father, brother, and friend, leaving behind cherished memories and a loving family.

Mike was a man who appreciated the simple joys in life. He was often found enjoying his favorite meals at Texas Traditions, sharing laughs with friends and loved ones over lunch and dinner. An avid fisherman, he loved spending time by the water, rod in hand, enjoying the tranquility nature provided. Music was another passion of his, and he often filled his days with melodies that brought joy to those around him. 

Mike was a devoted dog dad to his beloved companion, Prissy, who faithfully stood by his side. He is survived by his son, Michael Owens and spouse Kristy; daughter, Lisa A. Peterson; brother, Jerry L. Owens and spouse Kim; sister, Sandra O. Easley and spouse Charles; grandsons Cody S. Owens, Christan Owens and spouse Vanessa, Josh Smith and spouse Ryan; granddaughter Jordan Winkworth and spouse Clinton; along with four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Cole, Oliver, and Korra. He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis L. Owens and Francis Harwell Morgan, and his beloved wife, Patricia Lindsey Owens.

We invite friends and family to join us as we celebrate Mike's life. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service at 10 AM. Let's come together to share stories, laughter, and honor the remarkable man that he was.
