It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lanae Millwood Traywick. Lanae was born on May 14, 1969, to John and Lana Millwood in Dallas. She grew up alongside her siblings. To know Lanae was truly to love her. She was a woman with the kindest soul, always willing to help anyone in need and never hesitating to put others before herself. Her love was unconditional, her heart was genuine, and her presence brought comfort and warmth to everyone around her.

Lanae was a proud and devoted mother, Naenie, daughter, sister, and friend. She loved her family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them. Whether she was cooking a home cooked meal for her loved ones, relaxing in her recliner watching television, coloring, or cheering on her Dallas Cowboys, Lanae found joy in life’s simple moments. Above all, she loved being surrounded by the people she loved most.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Tristan Traywick and his wife, Cierra Traywick; her daughter, Bethany Traywick and boyfriend Alex Gipson and her daughter Darla Dowdy; her beloved grandson’s Gavin and Jacobie Humphrey ; her mother, Lana Millwood; and her siblings: John Millwood and his wife Tina Millwood, Tori Wilder and her husband Patrick Wilder, Brian Millwood and his wife Emily Millwood, and Sara Millwood and her spouse Tyrone Waters, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Lanae was preceded in death by her father, John Millwood (“Dae Dae”), and granddaughter, River Clair Humphrey.

Her beautiful spirit, loving heart, and unforgettable smile will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Lanae will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered every single day.
