Veronica Foret Kern

Veronica entered into this world June 27, 1948. She went by the name Roni but for many she was mom, nana or friend. She was a loving, patient and caring person. Roni enjoyed her family and friends. She lived her life to the fullest.

Roni retired and moved to Arkansas. She would go fishing at any opportunity. If she wasn’t fishing she could be found at garage sales.

Roni lived most of her life in Texas. Her home and heart belonged in Diana, TX. She was a lifelong member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.

She left this life to be with Jesus and her heavenly family October 24, 2022. She leaves behind a 2 brothers, Don Denman of Longview, TX and Roland Denman Hoskins; 5 sons, Doug Foret Slagle and wife Josephine of Enola, AR, Joe Foret and wife Jennifer “Tebble” of Frisco, TX, Ronald Foret and wife Anna of Little Elm, TX, Jamie Foret of Waco, TX, and Steven Widdon of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Vanessa Slagle, Preston Slagle, Hannah Foret, Adam Foret, Garrett Foret, Jeremy Foret, Brandon Foret, Ashley Foret and Brett Foret; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brothers, Bob Denman, Floyd Denman, Noland Denman Hoskins and John Whiddon; and her mother, Violet “Bobby” Denman Hamilton.

She will be missed greatly.

A visitation for Roni will be held on Friday, October 28 from 6 to 8 in the evening at the Chapel of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral home Diana, TX. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 29 at 12 o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Grubbs-Loyd Funeral Home, Diana, TX.
