Veta Ann Langston

Veta Ann Langston, 81, of Hawkins, Texas passed away on December 22, 2023.  Veta was born on October 22, 1942 to Ollie and Bessie Haddox.

Veta was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was always full of life.  Veta was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church where she served with a selfless heart.  She and her sisters had a floral design shop and spent many happy days together putting floral designs together.

Veta is survived by her son, Greg Fortenberry and wife Merynda; daughter, Pam McKeithen and husband Ramsay; brother, Ray Haddox; sister, Willie Mae Broom; grandchildren, Chad Fortenberry and wife Holly, Mika Nolen and husband Ryan and Samantha Coster and husband Taylor; great-grandchildren, Oliva, Kane, Maddison, Maddy and John.

Veta is preceded in death by her parents Ollie and Bessie Haddox, her beloved husband, W.S. Fortenberry Jr.
