Vilma Mary Ramaly

Vilma Mary Ramaly, stepped into heaven and met her Savior face to face, June 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Her story began on March 3, 1932, in Bronx, New York. Due to the medical needs of a family member, the family moved to Miami, Florida. Her life changed through an invitation of a neighbor to attend a Christan Youth Group. Through a speaker at youth group, she learned that she could have a relationship with Jesus. She asked, Jesus to forgive her of her sins and to take over her life.

She immediately enrolled at Toccoa Bible College to learn more about the Bible. She met the love of her life, Larry Ramaly, and enjoyed 67 years of marriage. She and Larry became missionaries in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Houston, Texas as church planters amongst Hispanics. Fellowship Bible Church, Longview TX invited them to come and serve the Hispanic community through English as a Second Language classes and many were reached with the gospel. Lastly, they served as Chaplains in the Longview area with Marketplace Ministries. It was her greatest joy to serve the Lord and see others come to know Jesus as their Savior.

She loved her family and is survived by her loving husband, Larry Ramaly. Her beloved children: Susan (Josias) Mendoza, David (Sylvia) Ramaly and Doris Ramaly. Her cherished grandchildren: Josias (Tessha) Mendoza, Sandra (Justin) Stayton, Jacob Ramaly, Raquel (Matt) Gustafson, and Phil (Kelly) Ramaly. Her endearing great-grandchildren: Nat, Iva, Thomas, Moses, Izetta, Ben, Aiden, Avery, Lydia, Nate and Isla Ann. Her extended family: Doris (Stewart) Liebelt, Christi (Ray) Jones, Ernest (Magali) Vales, Bobbie Vales, Yvette (Tommy) Romaine and Heather Vales.
