Walt Butterfield

Graveside memorial services for Walter Joseph Butterfield, 77 of Diana, Texas will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Overton City Cemetery in Overton, Texas.
Mr. Butterfield passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017, in Longview. He was born on December 30, 1939, in Kingston, ND to Cecil Robert Butterfield and Ariel Akin Butterfield. MSgt Walter Joseph Butterfield, ret., served in the U. S. Air Force as an accountant until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Fusa “Fumiko” Kojima Butterfield; sister, Patricia Harvey and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
