Wanda L. Geer

The Geer family has watched their star fall from the sky. Yet we will rejoice and celebrate her life and the love she showed to us all. Wanda Geer was a full-time homemaker and a wonderful mother. Together with her husband of 50 years she raised nine children. Wanda was preceded in death by her mother, Flora Keckler; her father, Leo Keckler; her husband, Menso Geer; and her daughter, Edna Mitchell. Wanda leaves behind her four sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Tommie Geer of Tyler; Sam and Connie Geer of Gilmer; Charles Geer of Longview; and Lucas Geer of Seattle, Washington. Wanda also leaves behind four daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce Green of Jacksonville; Wanda and Wendell Kerr of Gilmer; Ruth Coker and Donald Henderson of Gilmer; and Jill Gentry and Booker Johnson also of Gilmer; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
