Will Rogers King passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 2, 2024. 

Will was born to the late Rogers King and Janie (Smith)King in Bennington, Oklahoma on June 7, 1939. After graduating from Matoy High School in OK, he enlisted in the US Navy, serving his country from 1956-1960. Will was proud of his heritage as a member of the Choctaw Nation of OK. 

He lived a life devoted to his family and God. As a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association, Will enjoyed going into prisons and participating in rallies to spread God’s word. He was a member of the Saving Grace Church, formerly known as the Church of Power, in Pritchett. Will was a jack-of-all-trades. He worked many years as a sewing machine mechanic, a construction helper, and most recently an athletic custodian at Harmony High School. 

Will leaves behind a trail of endearing memories and a legacy of always helping others that will continue to inspire all that knew him. Will is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Iva (King) Winborn and Emma (King) Edwards. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Cyndi (Gentry) King: son Alan King (Dottie); daughter Rhonda King; son Warren Miles (Stacey); daughter Teresa Harper, daughters Carrie Lewis and Amanda Johnson (Kevin). Grandchildren: Tara, Heather, Corby, Cody, Crystal, Tiffany, Preston, Justin, Autumn, Christy, Amber, Kyle; and a number of great-grandchildren. 

A celebration of life will be held at Saving Grace Church, 2128 Chinaberry Rd Gilmer, TX on Saturday January 6, 2024 at 1:00pm.
