William Clifford Culberson

William Clifford Culberson, born on May 13, 1943, in Upshur County, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025, in Gilmer, Texas.

Clifford dedicated a significant part of his professional life as a Maintenance Supervisor for Tx Dot, where he worked diligently to ensure the safety and efficiency of Texas roadways. His strong work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities were qualities admired by his peers, and he took great pride in serving the community throughout his career.

Clifford was known for his love of the outdoors and had a strong work ethic which he displayed in both his professional life and personal hobbies. He was happiest when he was working, whether it was tending to tasks related to his job or engaging in activities outside.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Glenda Roberts Culberson; son, Ray Culberson and wife Kristin; granddaughters, Kailon and Ashton Culberson.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Looney Culberson and Pearl Aills Culberson.

A visitation will be held at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer, Texas, on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Following this, a graveside service will take place at Enon Cemetery in Gilmer on Friday, October 31, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM.
