William Joe Green

Graveside services for William Joe Green, 77, a resident of Gilmer will be Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Gladewater Memorial Park in Gladewater, Texas. William passed on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at a Texarkana hospital. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home with visitation being held at the funeral home Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. William was born to Andrew and Thelma Green in Gilmer on May 7, 1937. He was a crane operator for the steel industry and a member of the Baptist faith. He was married to Melrose Green. Mr. Green is survived by his son, Jerry Green and step-son Randy; daughter Ramona Elkins and step-daughter Diane; five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melrose Green.
