Zayden Lynn Collette peacefully took his final rest in the arms of loving parents, Zachary and Jessica, on August 8, 2026, at home.

Zayden was born on December 10, 2025, to Zachary and Jessica. Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief but incredibly meaningful time with Zayden. He filled countless lives with joy and love. Zayden found ways to show us his personality. He loved keeping everyone on their toes. He loved listening to his music; people talk and watching Disney movies. Zayden always loved holding one of his many stuffed animals.

He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather Lorian Oscar Robertson, his maternal grandfather Marcus Ray Ebeling, great-aunt Rebecca Ann Hurteau, Uncle Scott Henry Lawson, great-grandmother Donna Sue McCollum, and great-grandfather Donald Henry McCollum.

He will be forever cherished and remembered by his parents, Zachary & Jessica, paternal grandparents Darrell and LaRhonda Robertson, great-grandmother Linda Robertson, maternal grandmother Christi Ebeling, Aunt Kati Ebeling with cousins Sutton & Kailynn, along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home – Hawkins. The funeral service will take place at the same location on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Following the service, interment will be at Turner Cemetery in Wood County, Texas.
